The following describes the various registration packages available:
Gizmo Package: Includes keys for Gizmo DA and Gizmo App, update notices, a disk with the latest versions including DA Aid and Gizmo FKEY and printed documentation. Gizmo is an on-line interactive GIF‚Ñ¢ picture viewer, meaning it can automatically open and display GIF pictures as they are downloaded. Gizmo can do this using almost any communications and any on-line service or BBS! It can also display the pictures in full color! Once converted, pictures can be copied to the clipboard or saved as a PICT file. Gizmo also has a diagnostic display, a "hide picture" key, and many setup controls. [$30, requires a Mac 512E or later.] NOTE: Gizmo now supports the new GIF89a specification.
Turbo View Package: Includes keys for Turbo View and Turbo View App, update notices, a disk with the latest versions and printed documentation. Turbo View is a desk accessory (and an application) that can be used to view several graphics formats, including GIF™, PICT, MacPaint®, RLE (Run Length Encoded) and StartupScreens. The current picture can also be saved in PICT, MacPaint or StartupScreen formats. A pencil and eraser tool are provided for touch-ups and 5 levels of FatBits from 2x to 32x are available for close-up work. The selection tool can be used to copy portions to the clipboard. Now shipping with a pre-release version of Turbo View II! [$30, requires a Mac 512E or later.] NOTE: Turbo View now supports the new GIF89a specification.

DAfx: Includes the key to unlock DAfx, update notices, a disk with the latest version and printed documentation. DAfx is our painting desk accessory, which has many of the standard painting tools available and some special effects. It can edit pictures from the Clipboard or from the following file formats: MacPaint, StartupScreen, Apple II Hi-Res, Atari ST DEGAS, and IBM-pc "CGA" pictures. Pictures can also be copied to the clipboard and saved in either MacPaint or StartupScreen format. DAfx is great for touching up logos and clip-art from within any application, and it's MultiFinder compatible. [$30, requires a Mac 512E or later.]
HyperPix: Our first major HyperCard® stack offering, HyperPix is a picture retrieval and catalog system. HyperPix can automatically scan through the folder(s) of pictures you specify and create a card representing each picture. HyperPix currently recognizes the following picture formats: MacPaint®, PICT, StartupScreen, GIF™, and RLE. TIFF support is also planned in the future. HyperPix also has an indexing system that lists images by whatever keyword(s) you want. Images can then be viewed by clicking on an entry from the list. Since most pictures are too large to fit on a card, clicking a button will display the entire image in a moveable, sizeable and scrollable window! Many other features are also included. HyperPix requires HyperCard version 1.25 or later. Special versions for HyperCard 2.0 and SuperCard are being considered. [$30, requires a Mac 512E or later and HyperCard 1.25. A hard disk drive and 1MB memory are strongly recommended!]
Mi Utilities: Includes Gizzards (application memory list), Spaced Out (free disk space list and warning), Mi Remote (for controlling the Apple CD SC®), CD Jump Start (starts your CD playing at startup-time), CD Glue (prevents CD from ejecting on Restart so music continues to play), Mug Shot DA (for reporting problems with products) and Wiff (for investigating the contents of GIF™ and TIFF pictures). [$30 for entire package, requires a Mac 512E or later.]
NOTE: We are no longer providing our "Regular" packages in order to provide the same services to all our customers. However, we will still accept registrations from older products, but they will not include the update disk nor printed documentation.
Incentive products that will be included with the Gizmo registration package include:
Gizmo App, the application version. This is highly recommended for those who use MultiFinder. It provides the same functionality of the DA version, but is preferred when using MultiFinder. Gizmo App is available only from Mi Concepts. Distribution by any other entity or online service using any form of media is strictly forbidden!
DA Aid is a utility for using Desk Accessories that display full-color graphics, such as Gizmo. You may notice that when you have a full-color picture in Gizmo, displaying a dialog window or opening other DA windows may cause your screen to flash and be redrawn. DA Aid can be used to prevent this from happening, whether you are using the Finder or MultiFinder!
Gizmo FKEY is a function key (FKEY) that allows you to control Gizmo DA without having to bring it forward (front most). With just a key stroke, you can open Gizmo from the DA menu; tell Gizmo to open a new picture; have Gizmo stop converting the current picture; or show the status display to hide the picture from unwanted onlookers. With some communications software, Gizmo can't be brought to the front and used while a picture is being downloaded. With this FKEY, most of Gizmo's features are a stroke away!
